All Things Possible Donates a Much Needed Wheelchair Van to a McConnells Family

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) A McConnell’s family with a special needs child is getting the ultimate surprise from area non-profit, All Things Possible.

All Things Possible is a unique organization, in fact they say they are the only organization in the country, to provide families with customized wheelchair vans and equipment.

Coming out for what they thought was a quote for much needed repairs on their wheelchair van, 16-year-old Kandace and her mom Crystal were in for a much bigger surprise.

All Things Possible was able to raise $30,000 for Kandace’s new van. She suffers from Cerebral Palsy and severe Spasticity. Born at just 26 weeks, Kandace and her twin, who has autism, now have an upgraded van for them and their family.

Kandace’s mother Crystal Faulkner says, “You know we can get out, we can have outings and you don’t have to worry going to the grocery or to doctors appointments and that sort of stuff. It’s a huge blessing for us and our family.”

This is the third wheelchair van donation All Things Possible has made this year, so far. These vans can range from $20,000-$75,000 thousand dollars a piece and that’s why this organization says it’ll continue to help families.

All Things Possible Vice President, Todd Dewey says, “Our goal is to continue to grow and be able to sustain this process of telling people stories and offering reliable transportation for people that are dependent on wheel mobility….”

A shocked Kandace and Crystal say this reliable transportation means everything.

“I think it’s awesome,” says Kandace.
