3 Dead, Including 2 Children in Fatal Wreck in York Co.

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) South Carolina Highway Patrol says three people died after a fatal Collison Tuesday afternoon around 4:30 PM in York County.

The crash happened on South Carolina 5 near Park Place Road, three and a half miles east of the Town of York.

South Carolina Highway Patrol says the wreck involved two vehicles.

Master Trooper Gary Miller with S.C. Highway Patrol says a 2000 Jaguar which was driven by an adult with two juvenile passengers crossed the center line and was struck by a car heading in the other direction. The three people in the Jaguar died.

The driver of the other vehicle was injured and taken to the hospital says Miller.

UPDATE:

The York County Coroner has released the names of the three people who died in the wreck. The driver of the car has been identified as 29 year old Cole Labrozzi. The two passengers have been identified as 8 year old Kaydence Timmons and 7 year old Justin Whitener.

Officials say all are from York and were dead at the scene. Timmons and Whitener are siblings, Coroner Sabrina Gast said.

The wreck is still under investigation.
