2nd Arrest in Deadly Shooting on Adnah Church Rd. in York County

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (CN2 News) – York County Sheriff’s Detectives say they have charged 19 y/o Robert Evans Outen with Murder and Possession of  Weapon During the Commission of  a Violent Crime in connection to the homicide investigation on Adnah Church Road in Rock Hill.

On April 10, at 4:45 PM, YCSO Deputies say they were called to the intersection of Highway 5 and Adnah Church Road after a South Carolina Highway Patrol discovered 23-year-old Mardarius Bailey in need of a medical assistance from an apparent gunshot wound. The York County Coroner says Bailey later died from his injuries.

Bailey was a Point Guard on the 2013 Lewisville High School State Basketball Championship Team and a former CN2 Athlete of the Week.

On April 11, York County Detectives charged 19 y/o Tyler Wayne Montgomery also in connection with the homicide investigation.

Outen and Montgomery are being held at the York County Detention Center.
