Lucas McFadden
Lucas McFadden joined the CN2 news team as Anchor/Producer in September 2008. He is excited to be back at the station where he started his TV career.
Before joining CN2 for the second time, he worked at the legendary WIS TV-10 (NBC) in Columbia, South Carolina. There he was up even before the chickens! Lucas was the Sunrise reporter with his own show called “Live with Lucas”. He got up each weekday morning at 1:30! The early schedule was not bad considering he got to do things like take a trapeze class and learn how to repel down a six story building on live TV, and was often the first person to arrive on the scene of overnight breaking news stories. Lucas has won several journalism awards for breaking news and human interest stories and is committed to telling the stories of the day.
At WIS TV-10 he also got to interview a number of celebrities like Steve Carell and the entire cast of The Office, Jason Lee, Brooke Shields, Howie Mandel and wrestlers Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan. When you see Lucas, ask him what happened when he interviewed Matthew Perry!
He is originally from Fort Lawn, SC and graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He and his beautiful wife, Kati, are excited to be back home in Rock Hill and look forward to reconnecting with the community they both love.
