James is a proud graduate of Winthrop University. He was the Sports Editor of the school newspaper and Sports Producer for Winthrop Close-Up, where he produced an award winning sportscast (‘Best Sportscast’ 2009
Collegiate RTNDAC Awards). Also while in college, James interned at
ESPNU in Charlotte and the Charlotte Knights media relations department.
He looks forward to meeting new people around the Tri-County Area, both in and outside of his hometown of Fort Mill.
In his spare time, he loves a good game of golf and watching football
and college basketball. If you see him, don’t be afraid to come up to
him to talk news/sports.
