West End Baptist Church

Buildings don't change lives, but what's inside them does! A church means different things to people. Some folks see it as a building. Others see it only as an organization. To some it is only a series of special programs. In simplest terms, West End Baptist Church is people. We are real people with a special relationship. That relationship is not to a building, an organization or a program. It is to a person, and that person is Jesus Christ. People are important to us, because people are important to Him.

The secret to the great things that are happening at West End is the presence of Jesus in the hearts of our people. So if you are a person who is just starting to ask questions about God and interested in finding answers or if you are already a believer in Christ and wanting to deepen your faith, you can find a home here.

Sunday Schedule:
Bible Study: 9:30 AM
Worship: 10:50 AM
Kids Own Worship: 10:50 AM

Evening Worship: 6:00 PM
TeamKID: 5:30 PM

We are located at the corner of Meadowlakes Road and Hwy 322 (McConnells Hwy). For a calendar of events or for more information about West End, please visit our website at http://www.westendbaptist.org

 The Shield

In other words, our desire is to GROW the Kingdom of God and to learn together how to best put God's principles of walking in love, joy, and strength into practice in the world we live. The church is not a building, but God within each of us.  It's our mission to reach others in a world of fear and desperation and share what Christ has done for everyone.

We've been around a little while - over 30 years! Our Pastors, Drs. Larry and Kathy Soles, are the founders of The Shield (formerly known as Shield of Faith) . Through God's guidance and their leadership, many lives have been touched. They invite you to come and experience God and join a family that welcomes you - just as you are.
