It is raining so it must be the weekend!

September 29, 2009

It’s raining so it must be the weekend....but we sure know how to make the best of it!

The family and I just took a week to explore the Carolinas – but it rained – an awful lot on both ends of our trip. There were five of us – my parents, brother and of course my husband were all with me for the Palmetto exploration. We arrived at the Table Rock Resort after driving through what we thought must be the worst of the storm – but no, that was just the start. So what’s a family to do – the answer my Mom decided, was a puzzle. It became of obsessive project, 1000 pieces all needing to find their home! Oh my, what an adventure, it had been years since any of us had touched a puzzle - but you know, it was a lot of fun.

When we got to the VERY end, that LAST piece was missing...but my wonderful husband managed to find it. I hope you enjoy the pictoral play by play below!  Maybe now, on the next rainy day, you'll think to dig out a puzzle and enjoy some quality time! If you do -- be sure to pass those completed puzzle pics along!
